Group classes are for puppies 4 months and older, focusing on real-world manners and situations instead of repetitive training (like walking in a park in a circle).
Our Basic Manners training is great for puppies new to the world, older adolescent dogs in need of manners, a new dog (of any age) to your home, focusing on real life skills in real life application. Basic Manners is a general overview of simple day to day commands that come in real handy in a dog’s life. Things like: sit politely for greeting, stop at a curb, come when called, go to your bed and stay put! until I release you, don’t pick things up on the street and more! All commands taught are reinforced in fun K9 Games with a friendly competition for graduation.
Our Canine Good Citizen training is perfect after a basic/beginner level class has been completed. An American Kennel Club (AKC) evaluator will conduct the testing on the last day of class. Canine Good Citizen is a simple 10 exercise test demonstrating basic commands, good manners and nice temperament. Click here to read more.
Puppy Parties at the training center are for healthy puppies 8-14 weeks, shot records and health certificate required. Puppies that are properly socialized stand a much better chance of coping in your world. Combining socialization, learning self control, surviving new and exciting things all make for a better balanced adult dog. Use that critical window of learning for a lifetime of benefit!
Socialization is critical to having a well adjusted dog. Read about Dr. R. K. Anderson's proper socialization letter here.
Vaccination of your dog is as important as socialization. Read about Dr. W. Jean Dodd's vaccination protocols here.
